This Pet Cancer Awareness Month, we’re proud to honor the legacy of Moose - a beloved rescue dog who lost his battle to late-stage lymphoma - by supporting Moose’s March.
Founded by our Animal Welfare Liaison, Tricia Montgomery, Moose’s March is a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and promoting early cancer detection in pets nationwide. In memory of Moose, Tricia’s mission is to help pet families avoid the heartbreak of a late-stage diagnosis through education, resources, and early intervention.

About Moose’s March
Moose’s March is the only U.S. nonprofit solely focused on early cancer detection for pets. Why Early Detection Matters
Cancer is the leading cause of disease-related deaths in pets, with nearly six million dogs and six million cats diagnosed each year in the United States alone. For dogs over the age of seven, one in four will develop cancer in their lifetime, yet many pet parents miss early signs, such as small lumps, weight loss, or changes in activity levels. That’s why Moose’s March is committed to making early detection resources available to all pet families.
